IN WESTRALIA’S PROGRESS
(Received 13, 10.20 a.m.) King George gave audience to Mr. Scadden, Premier of West Australia, and discussed familiarly with him West Australia’s rapid progress. On Mr. Scadden leaving the King said: “ Tell yodr people on your return that I am deeply interested in your vast country, and wish you and its people every success.”
