Nj.ord Galway has introduced a bilkin the House of Lords instituting a ohllot to maintain the Territorial establishment, the shortage to be drawn from men between 18 and 30 years of age.
SHORTAGE OF RECRUITS
London, March 12.
A Blue Book has been issued which shows that the army is 84,811 below the establishment, but there was a slight increase of recruiting in 1912.
Expectations were not realised owing to immigration, trade prosperity and the predilectiofi of recruits for the navy.
