TRANSPORT STRIKE
C ONFERENCE WITH LORD DEVONPORT. (Received 16, 1.40 p.m.) London, July 15. Messrs. Goslin and Orbell, representing the strikers, had an interview to-day with Lord Devonport, Chairman of the Port of London Authority. This has raised hopes of- a settlement, consequently the Premier has postponed making a promised statement in the House.
