KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS. A good audience witnessed the second screening of the current programme at the King’s Theatre last evening, lhe seeiiics, “ English Lakes ” and “ On Lake Scutari.” are pictures ol interest loall.. The industrial pictures, “Strength and Ability of Insects ” anti “ Making Cheddar Cheese,” are both interesting and instructive. The dramas, “ Young Loehinvar.” “ An Idle Boast,” “ Capulin Barnailc’s Bi by, ” “On Panther Creek,” and “ Love’s Tragedy.” all held the attention of the audience. Uhe comics. “ Robin buys a Donkey,” " Smiler 'fries J<i-|itsu." and “Lost Chance,” go to make up a good programme. To-night is the last chance of seeing these pictures. OLYMPIA RINK, HASTINGS. There was a good attendance at the rink yesterday. Notwithstanding the heat of the day. the rink was quite cool and pleasant, thanks to the sliding roof. i)n Wednesday night the obstacle race which was missed out of the carnival programme will be run. PRINCFSS THEATRE. HASTINGS. The present programme "ill be screened for the last time to-night. Every child should take its parents to see “ The Little Major.” It is a most excellent picture, and the same remark applies to “ Love on the Hills.” For pure unadulterated fun. “ Cook of the Ranch ” would be hard to beat, and there are others equally liumorous. lhe programme right through is good. " THE TEMPTATIONS OF A GREAT CITY." This very .successful picture drama will be screened at the Princess Theat re. Hastings, to-morrow night. The plot contains some thrilling episodes ot [.ondon life, and the staging is most elaborate.
