(Received 10, 9.30 a.m.) Vienna, Nov. 9. An Austrian merchant at Tripoli writes that the Italians fed the hungry Arabs but were vilely betrayed. It is true the Italians shot some women, who, under the cover of their sex. carried arms and ammunition to the men who were assailing the Italian troops. General Caneva asserts that women who were concealed behind bushes fired on the Italians.
