ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
LADY CYCLIST STUNNED.
A collision between a motor bicycle ridden by a half-caste named John Martin, and a bieycle ridden by Miss Ella Sinclair, a housemaid in the employ of Mr. J. N. Williams, of Frimley, occurred opposite the stables of Messrs. Graham and Gebbie in Heretaunga Street, Hastings, last evening. The young lady was rendered insensible by the fall, and was taken into the stables, where she was attended by Dr. Macdonell, who fortunately was close by. Miss Sinclair had sufficiently recovered shortly after to allow of her removal to the residence of a friend (Mrs. C. Biel, of King Street), whither she was conveyed in a cab. The sufferer again lost consciousness on arrival at the house, and at midday to-day she was still in a comatose state, suffering from severe shock and concussion of the brain. Dr. Barcroft is also attending the injured girl.
