For forming and metalling 22 chains of the Te Aute Road, in three separate pieces, between the Rev. S, Williams’ and the Silver Stream; and for metalling 41 chains of the formed road in the same locality. 2. For forming and metalling 6 chains of the Te Aute Road at Te Matai, about one mile above the bridge over the Puki-Puki. 3. For cutting and metalling the approaches to the intended site for the Ferry at Waitangi, and for forming and metalling 6 chains of road between there and Clive. 4. For forming and metalling 18 chains of road between the Ferry and the Muddy Creek on the Clive road. 5. For taking down, removing to and rebuilding at Waitangi, the old Ferry-house, and erecting chimney to it. 6. For forming and metalling 4 chains of the Porangahau Road between Captain Newman’s upper gate and Pukekura. 7. For making 5i chains of the Te Aute Road, between Havelock aud the Louisa Creek. Plans and specifications of all the above works to be seen at the office of the Superintendent, Napier ; of those of the Te Aute Road, at Mr. Power’s, Te Aute; and of that on the Porangahau-road, at Mr. Drower’s, Waipukurau.
