MINERS' STRIKE.

LONDON, September 20. A miners’ strike in Sardinia led to a conflict with the police, and in the fight three miners were killed. This resulted in a violent protest throughout Italy, and several persons were killed in various towns. (Received September 22, 1.10 a.m.) September 21. The “Daily Mail” states that at the instance of the Italian Socialists, a million workers struck, but the upheaval subsided. King Emanuel was greatly perturbed at the situation.
