W. ROSE. Mr W. Rose reports—At Dannevirke on the Bth instant, the yarding was smaller than usual on account of the wet weather, a large portion of the entry being unable to reach the yards. Good conditioned steers were again in good demand, and with the exception of a line of station heifers, the yards were cleared at quotations;—Cattle: Fat bullocks (light) £6 10s, forward £5 15s, three-year steers £5 to £5 10s, two and a half-year £4 19s, two-year £4 ss, 18-months £3 4s to £3 10s, yearlings £2 ss, weaners from 25s to 32s 6d, fat £2 ss, weathers from 15s to 32s 6d, fat cows £5 to £5 10s, two-year heifers in calf £4.
