LAND SALE.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TIMARU, Saturday. At an auction sale of lots in the township of Brookland, near the new Pareora freezing works, 76 quarter-acre lots were sold to twenty-four persons at from the reserve of £2O each to £4O for corners, or an average of £24 each. Seven one-acre lots averaged £3B 10s and two three-quarter - acre lots £62. Forty acres of suburban lots were taken at £3O per acres.
