ORMONDVILLE
[ms CORRESPONDENT.) The Bishop of Nelson conducted service at the Church of the Epiphany, Ormondville, on Sunday morning, and at St. Saviour’s Church, Makotuku, in the evening. His sermons had reference to the centenary of the British and Foreign Bible Society. Miss Fothergill, matron of the Greyrnouth Hospital, is paying a visit to her relatives in Ormondville. The monthly meeting of the Norsewood Road Board was held on Monday evening. Present: Messrs Anderson (Chairman), Martin. Oben and Magnusson. Mr Carlson waited on the board ami asked that 15 chains of Gnndrie’sroad. leading to ids sawmill, bo rcmetailed; resolved. “That tenders be called, returnable in 14 days, for putting down 500 yards of metal, and that the Chairman and Messrs Martin and Olsen deal with same.” Deferred thirds to December 12th. 1903 (£24 12s 4d). were allocated. Mr Thorsen reported that his road clcarning contract on M’Lcod’s-road was nearly completed. Messrs Anderson and Olsen were, deputed to inspect the work and certify tor payment. Accounts amounting to £126 6s 9d were passed for payment.
