SCIENCE CONGRESS.

[press association.] DUNEDIN, Tuesday. A large number of persons have arrived to attend the meeting of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science, which opens to-mor-row. Lord Ranfurly arrived from the North to-night, and was welcomed by Bishop Nevdl, Acting-Primate (Chairman of the local Reception Committee), Professor David (president of the association), and Mr G. M. Thomson (local secretary). The business at the morning sitting will be mostly formal. In the evening Professor David will give his presidential address.
