ROWING.
The committee of the Union Bowing Club met last evening, and decided to hold a four-oar race on Saturday, March 7th, Entries will oloie on Wednesday evening, and crews will be picked the same night. In view of the visit of representative crews to Gisborne at Easter, it is hoped that all members will compete and tike a very active interest in this race. Two crews are to be sent for certain (senior and junior), and with the Napier Club sending crews, rowing will undoubtedly boom fora few months.
