CYCLISTS AND DUST.
At the l Chorley Eural District Council meeting the Surveyor (Mr LT.wrt-r.ee} astonished the members or stating that a bicycle caused r. 're dust on the hirth roads than a hundred horse vehicles. The Council, he said, might smile at the statement, but from his observation he asserted that 00 per cent, of the dust was owing to cycling. Cycles sucked up the binding of the roads, and dispersed it in clouds of dust.
