ROWING ASSOCIATION.
[PMSB ASSOCIATION.] TTillington, Friday. The adjourned annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Bowing Association was held to-night. Farther consideration was given to the proposed new roles. Bale 8 was altered to read as follows: —“Loral associations shall decide all questions arising oat of interpretation of rales and all protests and disputes within their own districts respectively, and in the cate of misoondaot on the part of either individuals, crews or clubs ander their jurisdiction, may, after inquiry, recommend to the Managing Committee the infliction of any penalty they think necessary, provided that aoy decision of a local association under this rale may be appealed against to the Managing Committee.” The proposal of the representative of the Sawatiri Club (Westport) to provide for the formation of a West Coast local association was lost. The delegate urged that it was net right that the Kawstiri Club, the only dab on the West Coast, should be attached to the Nelson association. It was decided that each local association should pay an annual subscription to the New Zealand association of fourpence per head for each active paying member. It was decided that delegates should at the annnal meeting at the beginning of the season decide at which place the championship would ba held. An amendment that Wellington should be the permanent course was lost on the voices.
