The Redistribution Bill introduced into Parliament reduces the number of members of the Council from 30 to 24, of the Assembly from 50 to 47, and the number of Ministers from 6 to 5. It also permits Ministers to sit in either House to explain bills ooßeetning their departments, but not to vote.
