ARRIVAL OF THE PAPAROA.
ftAKAIA PUTS IN AT HOBAET. PILOT DROPS DEAR. Received October SO, 1 a.m. Hobabt, Monday. Arrived— Paparoa, from London via the Cape. Mr J. P. Hogan, ex-member for Tipperary in the House of Commons, who coraeß to Australia as the Daily Chronicle's Federal Commissioner, is a passenger. The Bakaia put in here for coal, and sails for Auckland on Tuesday. Pilot Anderson, who boarded her, fell dead while giving the captain the course. Neither steamer has any invalided soldiers.
