[BRITISH CASUALTIES. METHUEN VICTORIOUS. PEETORIA AND JOHANNESBUBG QTJIBT. Booeivod Juno 14, 10.15 a.m. 1 London, June 13. The total British casualties in action to 9th June were 1276 officers and 17,405 men. The total losses, exclusive of flick and wounded in South African hospitalswere 25,728. Lord Methuen has routed Commandant De Wet at Bhenoster river. Lord Koberts telegraphed on the 12th that Pretoria and Johannesburg aie quiet. The inhabitants are thankful for peace and order. Captain Jenkins, Victorian, has arrived in England, invalided. Private Suttie, Victorian, previously reported a prisoner, was killed.
