CABLE TO THE DELEGATES. Rocoivod Juno 14, 1 a.m. Sydney, Wednesday. In view of the divided opinions of the Premiers re the proposed conference, Mr M'Lean consults tho Cabinet as to the best oourße to adopt in regard to the revisal of clause 74. Brisbane, Wednesday. Mr Philp says that when Federation is accomplished each province will want its own way in matters affecting the interests of others. Each ia bound to hold different views. He is strongly of opinion that the better course for all would be to refer the disputes to a tribunal outside of Australia. Melbourne, Wednesday. Mr M'Lean, after a conference of the Cabinet, decided to ask the Premiers to consent to sending a cable to Mr Barton, aßking him, in view of the difficulty of understanding the proposed amendments and the possibility of making things worse than as as first drafted, to urge the passing of the Commonwealth Bill in the form it was sent Home.
