ANTI-SHKEINER FEELING. Becoiyeil September], H a.m. Cape Town, August 31. With reference to the large consignments of ammunition allowed transport from Port Elizabeth on permits granted by Mr Sohreiuer, Premier of Capo Uolouy, aud which he represented were for the Orange Free State, it has now transpired that the ammunition was never intended for the Orange Free State, and never went there, but want straight across Caps Colony into the Transvaal. In consequence of this and other recent incidents there is an intense anti-Schreiner feeling at the Cape, Pketokia, August 31. The policeman who assaulted nn American negro at Johannesburg was fined .£l5.
