HARMSTON'S CIRCUS AND MENAGERIE.

[HASTINGS CORKESPONPnNT. j This talented company gave -two performances at Hastings on Saturday, which wero greeted by large and enthusiastic audiences. In the evening, in accordance with the promise given on Friday night by the manager, Mr Kobert Love, an absolutely complete change of programme was presented, no whit inferior to that which created so favorable an impression on the previous night, showing the splendid resources at the command of the management. No better all round circus entertainment has visited this town, every act being worked in an artistic, clean, and clever manner. Each performer is an artist; tho horses beautiful nnininls specially trained ; the performing beasts not half decrepit, but real live spocimens admirably worked ; the dresses a marked feature of their freshness and brilliancy, combined with excellent taste, tho music good; and the whole arrangements reflecting the highest credit on the management. The Japanese acts deserve a special word of praise, as feats are accomplished by the Oriental artists which are almost incredible. The company leave Hastings by the first train, this morning, arriving in 3S"apier at ten minutes to 9, where may be predicted for them an endorsement of the Hastings verdict and a most successful season.
