PROJECTED DEPARTURES.
Elingamite, s.s., for Northern ports and Sydney, January 21st. Omape're, g.8., for Wellington, January 21st.
The Union Company's s.s. Mokoia arrived from Northern ports and Sydney at 6 o'clock yesterday. morning. She discharged 70 tons cargo, including a large quantity of salt, and at 2 p.m. left for Wellington. •
The 8.8. Te Kapu arrived from Wairoa about 3 pjn. yesterday, bringing a large cargo.. She loaded up again, and was to leave for. Wairoa at 6.30 this morning. The dredge . J.D.O. came off the slip yesterday morning, having received a thorough overhaul.. Huddart-Parker's s.s. Elingamite has been postponed at Wellington through the heavy rain, and in consequence will not arrive here before to-morrow forenoon. • She leaves for Northern ports and Sydney at 8 p.m. ■ The s.s. Beautiful Star is expected from coast stations and Wellington to-morrow morning. .
The s.s. Janet Nioholl is due here this morning from Southern ports. She brings a quantity of sheep and about 70 tons produce. She passed Castlepoint at 5.30 last night.
