The commutce decided that the lamps opposite licenced premises must be kept alight antll midnight. Warren, Farndon Hotel.— Mr Fltzßoy pointed out that as the hotelß at Cllve were the refuge for a large number of persons at the time of flood, it was absolutely nccesary that upstairs accommodation should be provided. Tht) sanitary aspect ot tho oase was very undesirable dnrlng the reoent floods. — Messrs Fllzßoy and A. L. D. Fraser were appointed a sub committee with full power to aot in the matter referred to.
