New York, July 20. The New York Democrats approve the Chicago Convention programme, and It Is nob improbable that a section of the Eastern Democrats may adopt the nomination of Mr Bryan for the Presidency. Mr Smalley, the London Times' correspondent, deolarea that "Tammany Hall " has regained Us ascendancy, and says that to the best of his opinion Mr Bryan will be utterly defeated.
