Geometry was the lirst horse to break the line, but almost immediately Highborn rnshed to the front, and the latter with Dart and Knebsworth beld a prominent position to the straight, where the favorite, who had been fencing faultlessly, moved up. Diamlo had little difficulty In cutting down the leaders and stalling off a fast rnn by Komedal and finally won risily by two lengths, Geometry a leneth md a hn'f behind the second horee. Blghborr, Campaspe, and Sangster were the only others to finish, the remainder falliug but fortunately none of tho jockeys were injured. Boltou pulled np lume.
