The remaining clauses of the Divorce 1 Bill were passed through oommlttee without amendment. In committee on the Criminal Code Act Amendment Bill the age of consent waa fixed at 15 years (as under present Act), a proposal Id tbe bill to raise the age to 10 years being lost by 18 to B.—Clause 5, providing that prosecutions shall be commenced within two months, waa struck oat.—The bill was then reported. The Council adjournd at 5 till 7.30.
