Mi MacGregor moved tbat in the opinion of the Conncil a Grand Jory 1b unnecessary and should be abolished, And that the Government) be requested to brlnp down a bill next sesalon fiivinß effect to the opinion of the Conncil. — Sir Patrick Buckley said ha did not think tbe abolition of the Grand Jury system could be effected without altering the whole Jury Act, and on bis suggestion the debate woa adjourned so that he might coofer with his colleagues on the question.
