Tuesday, August 30, The Council met at 2.30 p.m. dills. The select committeo recommended that the Wesleyan Methodist Church Trust Bill be allowed to proceed, and that the term of a minister's residence ln one ciicait be not moie than five years In succession. The Oamaru Racecourse Trustees Empowering Bill was put through Its final otuges. The Conncil rose at 2.50.
