(Reoeived Aplrl 28, noon.) Sydney, Thursday. The damage to the rolling stock by tbe railway accident is estimated at about £30,000. The acoident is the most disastrous that haa ever occurred in Australia. The train was travelling at the irate of twenty miles per hour, and when the accident happened the driver managed to stop within one hundred yards. Very little shock was experienced in the front part of the train. The night was dark and cold, and for the time the scene was one of terrible confusion. Stanbnrv is favorite for the sculling championship, though it is expected that Snllivan will row a great race. The race will be rowed on Monday afternoon, with a lavorable tide.
