SYDNEY T.C. QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY MEETING.
(by electric telegraph— copyright.) [reuter's telegrams.] (Uccoivcd May 25, 1.15 a.m.) Sydney, Tuesday. The Queen's Birthday meeting of the Sydney Turf Club was held to-day. The weather was splendid, and the attendance exceedingly large; Lord Cal'lington wise among tlie visitors. fIOYAL STAKES! Centanr 1 Mitrailleuse 2 Felon 3 Twenty-three horses started. Mitrailleuse led up the straight, but was caught 50 yards from home by Centaur. A great finish resulted in favor of the latter by half a length. Time, Imin ltl^seo, queen's birthday cup. Willeroo 1 Ringnlaster 2 Fernandez 3 Twenty-six horses started. Mitiaillouse made the running along the back of the course, but fell back at the turn. A great race ensued between the placed horses, Willeroo winning by half a length. Time, 2niin 26sBcs'
