(Rooei . od Ootober 27. noon.) Brisbane, Tuesday. About 250 Japanese have arrived by steamer at Cooktown. They have been engaged to work on the sngar plantations in Northern Queensland in lieu of Polynesian laborers, who are vow unobtainable.
