NEW SOUTH "WALES.
(Received October 27, noon.) Sidney, Tuesday. It is announced that the new Parliament will meet for the transaction of business on the 17th of November. The vacancies in the Cabinet aaused by the defeat of some Ministers and the resignation of others will probably ba filled to-day. (Received October 28, 1.5 a.m.) The dispute between the Lambton colliers and coal trimmers and their employers at Newcastle is still unsettled, and there is every prospect of the strike being a prolonged one. A sculling match for £500 a-side and . the ohampionship of the world has been arranged between Beach, the champion, and Teemer, who recently defeated Hanlan. Beach allows Teemer £100 for expenses.
