At the nominations to-day for Oaversham Mr William Barron was returned unopposed. For Dunedin Central Messrs P. Bracken, J. B. Bradshaw, and J. G.. S. Grant were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Mr Bracken. Mr Grant's nomination is ridiculed. For Dunedin East Messra Matthew Woods Green, and Robert Stout were proposed. The show of hands was— Stout, 100; Green, 51. For Dunedin South Messrs H. B. Fish and James Gore were nominated. The show of hands was — Fish, 78 ; Gore, 69. For Dunedin West the Hon. T. Dick and Mr Stewart were nominated. The show of haads was — > Dick, 60; Stewart, 28. Mr Dick said if a coalition took place between Major Atkinson and Sir Geerge Grey he would not form one of such a party. For the Peninsula the nominations were Messrs W. J. M. Larnach, Owen James Hodge, md John Wells. The show of hands was — Larnach, 50 ; Hodge, 30 ; Wells, 8. For Port Chalmers Mr James Macandrew was elected without opposition. About sixty electors were present. Meaers James M 'Donald, Robert Gillies, and Henry Driver were to-day nominated for Bruce.
