New Zealand secarities are at the following quotations :— 5 per cent. 10*40 loan remains at 105 ; 6 per cent. 1889 loan, 103 J ; i\ per cent. 1879-1904 loan ib quoted at 100 ex div. ; i per cent, inscribed stock has declined to 93. The market for colonial breadstuffs remains quiet but steady at the following prices : —Adelaide wheat ex store, 44a ; Now Zealand wheat, 36s to 42:5. Adelaide flour ex store, 31s. The total quantity oE wheat adoat for the United Kingdom is 1,800,000 quarters. Australian tallow is dull ; prices have declined sixpence to a shilling per cwt. Beef, fair average quality, SSs ; mutton ditto, 41s 6d.
