SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Adelaide, Wednesday. In the House of Assembly last night the Colonial Treasurer introduced his amended scheme of taxation proposals as follows: — The imposition of a tax of a halfpenny in the pound on real property ; a tax of a peiiuy in the pound on gains or profita arising from personal property ; and an income tax of threepence in the pound subject to certain exemptions.
