The winner of any handicap of the value of 300 soys after the declaration of the weights to carry lOlbs extra ; of the value of 200 soys, 71bs extra ; of the value of 100 soys, 51bs extra. No entry will be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom thoy may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. All protests must be accompanied with a deposit of 5 soys, which sum wil bo forfeited I to the funds if the protest is not sustained. General entries and nominations will be. . received by the Secretary, at the Criterion . Hotel, Napier, up to 8 p.m. on Saturday, 6th '. March. Qualification fee of £2 payablo at the same time. ; The rides and weights of tho Hawke's Bay Jockey Club will be strictly adhered*; o, subject to any alteration in the scale of weights.
