Trade has been dull this week. The local millers report that the run is now upon the beat quality of flour, consumers caring little to operate on secondary brands, the market being well supplied from the South. Grain of all kinds is on the decline ; sales of oatsfrom 2s 8d to 2s ljd — parcel 1100 sacks good feed sold to arrive at the latter figure. Maize keeps up the price of last week, as Fijian cargoes (2500 sacks) are not yet to hand, but 1000 sacks are, en route from California, and further shipments are expected by next jStcamer from. Sydney,. and buyers operating with' cautSoni small lines changing hands at 4s 4£d to 4s 5d Sydney, and 4s for New Zealand grown. Potatoes are easier, several dots ibeing .quitted at from £6 to £6 ss.
