COURT DECORUM.
Sir, — When Shylock claimed his pound of flesh he conducted his own case with dignity in the Court of Venice. Shakespeare never for a moment makes him regard his cause as one of levity. If a certain legal gentleman in Napier could profit by his prototype and conduct his cases with the same propriety, and not indulge in vulgar side winks, it would be a thing desirable both for himself and the Court attendance. — 1 am, &c, Modesty.
