The 8.8. Rangatira, Captain Evans, arrived in the bay early yesterday morning from Poverty Bay, and wus tendered at once by the Bella for inward passengers. The same launch took the outward passengers off at 11 o'clock yesterday, and tho Rangatira steered j South immediately. The »chooner Griffen went out yesterday. She iB bound for Poverty Bay, in'ballast. Tho Union s.s. Hawea, Captain Kennedy, I is due early this morning from Northern ports, and will leave for the South at noon to-day. The lighters Admiral and Three Brothers look a load of wool off to the Glenlora yesterday, the Maid of the Mill going alongside the Avona with a similar cargo. The barque Adamant, Captain Bowling, has Bent down her topgallant-masts, &c, and is ready to discharge her cargo as soon as consignees pass for their goods. The port is now very dull, as there are not any vessels inside but the local fleet.
