The war news, though devoid of sensational incidents, appears to indicate increased activity and forwardness of Russian movements. The Danube has, no doubt, fallen to its ordinary level, and it is not improbable that tlxe decisive battle of the war may shortly be fought. In the meantime tlxe uneasiness at home seenxs to be lessening, as is evidenced by tlxe improvement in the tone of tlxe wool market.
