(Per Storm. Bird, via Wanganui.) Tuesday, December 20. The Government having demanded Todd's murderers, Manubiri, on bebalf of Tawbiao, refused, Baying that Todd was within their boundary, which he claims to be Maungatawhiri, thus including all the Waikato confiscated land. Sub-inspector Ferris, and 27 of the Armed Constabulary, arrived yesterday, per Phoebe. Arrived: — H.M.S. "Virago, and Luna, with H.R.H. the Duke of Edinburgh and His Excellency the Governor on board, from Tauranga.
