Arrival of the Napier.

THE fine little steamer Napier, Captain W. Bondall, completed her maiden trip on Tuesday last, 20th inst., arriving in port at 1 p.m. on 1 that day. She left Auckland at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday, 17th inst., and arrived at tbe Hot Springs at 5 o'clock the same after noon, leaving again in an hour afterwards. | Experienced freah S.W. winds crossing the Bay of Pienty, and rounded the East Cape at 9 p.m. on Sunday. Arrived at Tologa Bay at i o'clock on Monday morning. Shipped about 54. bales of wool from Mr. Bhodes' station, and proceeded on her voyage at 9 o'clook the same night. Had fresh head winds to the Mahia Peninsula, and from thenoa to port moderate variable winds, arriving here as above. The Napier had the honor of being the bearer of the BTawke's Bay portion of the European and American mails by the Californian route, which, as our readers aware, reached Auckland by the B,s. City of Melbourne, on Saturday last. We have much pleasure in welcoming Captain Bandall back again to our port, and hope a long and prosperous career is iv store for him and the smart little steamer Napier, of Napier.
