HOKITIKA.
Fbidat, Pecember 9. At the election, yesterday, for the County Council, the following members were returned : —for Hokitika, Messrs. Reid and Bonar; for Greymouth, Messrs. Guinness and Latiman ; for Kanieri, Mr. Robinson; for Waimea, Mr. Barff; for Ross, Mr. Button. The result is not yet received from Paroa and Akarito. Mr. Hoos, late chairman of the County Council, stood for Hokitika. Sailed—Gothenburg for Melbourne. Saturday. Michael Scanlan, for Okarita, and John M'Connor, for Paroa, have been returned as members to the County Council.
