THE HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

Sir,— Having been informed by several of my friends that I am the principal culprit referred to by the Secretary of the Horticultural Society, in his very sensible letter in your last issue, I think it only fair to myself to state publicly that, so far as I remember, I only took one or two strawberries during the whole afternoon. I heartily agree with Mr. Stcdman in his forcible protest, and regret that I should so far have forgotten myself as to give cause for any complaints. There were, however, other culprits (some of them members of committee) and I trust they will acknowledge their fault as I have done. It is a pity that so useful a Society as the Horticultural should suffer from such occurrences as those complained of by Mr. Steduaan.— l am, &c, J. K. Gotjdy.
