THE ENGLISH TELEGRAMS.
The English Telegrams via Suez are uorniually 12 days later than the uews received via Sim Pram-isco, beiu^ to the 16th April. They do not, however, contain many additional iteraa of interest. The references to wool aud flax are lirief. The former would appear to be selling at prices equal to, previous sales, .and, of the latter 300 bales had been disposed of at prices varying from £22 to £37 per ton. It is to be. regretted that the information on these points is not more copious. The New Zealand Commissioners, it will bo seen, have been pretty well received iv England, and have been presented to Her Majesty, Sir G.; Grey is still, wheu occasion offers, found fighting iv tho cause of New Zealand. The uews from Canada aud the States is interesting ; also from France. There are, as well, several domestic items not without general interest.
