RESIDENT MAGISTRACY OF NAPIER.
Sib,—Can you inform me how long the suitors in Napier, whose claims range between the maximum of the jurisdiction of the Justices, and the minimum amount for which suitors are permitted to take proceedings in the Supreme Court, are to suffer inconvenience consequent upon the neglect cf the Government to appoint any person as Resident Magistrate (either temporarily or otherwise) in the room of Mr. Curling, who was, about five weeks since, suspended at a moment's notice.^-I am, &c, A Sufferer. Nnpier, April 14.
