Arrival of the schooner Hero.

The schooner Hero, Campbell, master, left this port on the 11th, with light north-easterly winds, which she carried till abreast of Bare Island, when it chopped round to the westward. Arrived next morning, the 12th, at Porangahau ; discharged, and was ready for sea again next day, the 13lh, but was detained in the river till the 27th, through the shallowuess of tho water on the bar. Got out on the afternoon of the 27th, with a strong wind from the westward ; passed Cape Kidnappers at 1 a.m. on the 29th ; and arrived in Port at 8 a.m. on the same day.
