Advices received from Taupo is quite confirmatory of the information received via Wanganui. Te Kooti is still at (situated at the source of one of the principal branches of the Wanganui river), anj| has not been in any other direction. Meal* sures have been taken for moving jthe^co* lonial forces— from Tokano,'oh the" one side ofthe Lake, and Tapush.araru, ontb^ other — towards Tuhua, so as to act*ln|co(i--ce'rt with the Wanganui friendlies, and, if it be possible, to hem ih the miscreant and hia people. ..':'"' '.'.."
