The ship Undaunted will leave this port, probably this week, for Callao to load guano for the Mauritius, from thence will take cargo of sugar to Bombay, and from there will load cotton for England^ The Dancing Wave left the Bay of Islands for Napier on the 30th August, with coals for Mr. LeQuesne. Had light southerly winds ; rounded the East Cape at 8 a.m. on the 2nd instant, with the wind fresh from the north* ward, and Portland Island at 8 p.m. same day, arriving in the roadstead at 8 a.m. on Friday last, the 3rd instant, after experiencing light northerly winds and fine weather from Portland Island. Sho entered the Iron Pot at 4 p.m. The master reports having passed a schooner, off Poverty Bay, supposed to be the Saupy Lass, from this port. The cutter Mahia. left Napier for Wairoa on Thursday, the 26th ult., with a general cargo, and arrived there next day. Discharged cargo, and received on. board 300 bushels of maize for this port, and left for Kinikini on Friday last, arriving there the same night. . Next day, shipped 9 tuns whale oil, and left for Napier at 8 p.m. Experienced fine weather throughout, and arrived at 1 p.m. on Sunday last. . The Maggie, brig, in being brought into the Iron Pot, struck the bar slightly in the entrance near the new channel. She now takes up her berth at the entrance, instead of coming right up to the wharf as formerly. The Dunedin, schooner, left here for Peloras Sound on Friday last, going away with a good breeze. The ship Undaunted is nearly discharged ; cargo turning out satisfactorily. . The new wharf is being proceeded with rapidly ; the Maggie is lying alongside at present,
