Captain I Wdl'sp reports having had strong southerly winds, ,with a heavy sea, all the passage. The Lord Ashley steamed for Auckland during Saturday afternoon. The ketch Angelina sailed for Pelorus Sound en Thursday. The N.Z.S.N. Co.'s b.s. Rangatira, Captain Benner,' arrived at the anchorage on Sunday forenoon. She left Auckland at 2 p.m. on Friday, rounded the East Cape at 4 a.m. on Saturday, and experienced fine weather throughout the passage. She steamed for Wellington and Southern Ports at 1 p.m. yesterday. TheN.Z.S.N, Cq;'B b.s. Wellington, Capt. Holmes, is expected to arrive from Wellington to-day, and will have quick despatch for Auokland. The Circular Saw S.N. Co.'s s.s. Phoebe is expected to .arrive here from Wellington on or about the 26th, and will leave for Auckland shortly after arrival. We believe she is going to Sydney fromAuokland. The Beautiful Star arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton at 5 a.m. yesterday. The Government s.s. St. Kilda has been taken on the hard at the North Shore, for the purpose of being cleaned. — N. Z.
